I am a qualified psychodynamic therapist based in Bristol.
My practice offers a thoughtful, focused, and confidential environment in which to begin to explore whatever may be on your mind. Some of the issues I have worked with include depression, post-natal depression, numbness and disconnection, anxiety, issues around sexuality, processing difficult or traumatic events, grief and loss, relationships struggles, processing change or choices, and family conflict.
I have seen clients from all kinds of backgrounds, cultures, sexual orientations, ethnicities, genders and beliefs, and work respectfully and non-judgementally.
Psychodynamic therapy is derived from psychoanalysis and works with the unconscious mind. It hopes to bring about the deeper understanding of one’s feelings, thoughts, and actions through the exploration of the aspects of oneself that are often the most difficult to speak of. Over time we will think together about how present life links with past experiences and events, and we will consider the unfolding therapeutic relationship, as the dynamics between therapist and client may reflect patterns of relating in early life.
I offer a safe and held space to be curious about the many parts of oneself.
Sessions are £65, in person, and are at the same time and day each week.
I offer both time-limited (usually of up to 24 sessions) and open-ended therapy,
