Metamorphosis Counselling

I offer long- and short-term counselling to adult individuals at The Harbourside Practice Talking Therapy Rooms on a Monday afternoon and evening.
I offer a gentle, supportive, non-judgmental environment where I encourage you to explore your feelings and problems at your own pace. Here, you will be able to tell your story, and feel heard and understood. Together we can explore your life and behaviour patterns, how these may have stemmed from past experiences, and discover new ways to relate in the outside world.
I was awarded my Diploma in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling with Distinction, having completed 4 years of training with Bath Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy (www.bcpc.org.uk). This is a dual accredited British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) course. I am a registered member of BACP and abide by their code of ethics (https://www.bacp.co.uk/events-and-resources/ethics-and-standards/ethical-framework-for-the-counselling-professions/ethics/)
I worked as a counsellor for Cotswold Counselling – a charity in Cirencester – for 3 years. Prior to this, I was a volunteer listener for a charity helpline for 6 years. I have worked in the helping professions for over 15 years and as well as working as a counsellor, I teach, mentor and coach post-graduate professionals in charitable, private and university sectors.
