Integrative Counsellor and Trauma Specialist: Sophie Bayley

Sophie BayleyI am a registered, accredited, and professional counsellor with many years’ experience supporting people. with a variety of different issues through training, workshops, consultancy and counselling.

I provide a warm, welcoming and confidential space. My hope is to create a space of trust and safety for you to look at the issues you need to bring. We start where you want to start.

My aim is to work alongside you and to be someone to listen to what is going on for you; I am non-judgemental and accepting of any issue you bring.

As a counsellor my role is not to find the answers for you as I fully believe we have the answers within ourselves but may need support to find them.

I have a Counselling Diploma in Professional Studies from the University of the West of England and have trained with trauma specialist Babette Rothschild.

I am a member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and abide by their Ethical Framework and am fully insured.

As well as my private practice I work at the Southmead Project and at www.pennybrohn.org.uk

My being there with you can help to support you on your journey of self-discovery and awareness. Sometimes this can be challenging and you may need direction with this.

I am happy to work with the many different parts of each of our selves, the shadow and the light, and welcome them into the therapy room!

I charge £60 for a 50 minute session and am open to discussing discounts.
